How Will Allah Bring Life After Death?
Death is true, death is irreversible. No one can avoid death. The death of every human being born on earth is certain. Just as a child born in the womb is born after passing through many stages, in the same way, a human being has to pass through many stages before attaining death.
Some religions believe in reincarnation. According to them, a person is born 7 times, but Islam is the opposite. It has been told in Islam that a person does not take any birth after death, but after death, Allah will bring them back to life after the doom and according to their actions will put them in Paradise and Hell. Now when it comes to how Allah will bring them to life, then Allah himself has mentioned in the Qur'an about this fact.
Who is an Inheritor?
Allah is the only inheritor of the world. Every single thing will go to him. Life and death are in the hands of Allah. We will give up whatever we have. When we die, our heir becomes someone else, When he dies, someone else. This is how it goes, but when everyone dies, there is only one heir left, and that is Allah. The Quran says,
"And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor." [Surah Hijr 15:23]
Only Allah will be left after us. What we get is for temporary use only. In the end, leaving everything God has given us like this, we will go empty handed and all these things will remain in his treasury.
Why Did Allah Create Us?
Those who think there is no life after this death, take it as a game and understand that Allah has created this world unnecessarily and because of this, they understand that they should live in the luxuries of the world. And think that they will get their reward in another life according to their deed. But the truth is that Allah did not make us purposeless just like that. He created us for a purpose. For those who believe in the existence and command of Allah, it is not possible for them to wish such a thing in the direction of Allah. Having faith in Allah is a sign of faith. Allah said in Quran,"What! Did you think that We had created you without purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" [Surah Mominoon 23:115]
1. Allah created us to be tested
Allah has created this world for us, He has created heaven and earth for human beings. Disbelievers understand that this world has been created for enjoyment but it is not like that. Allah has created jinn and human beings for trial. He will give us a place in heaven and hell by the account of our deeds. According to Quran,“And He it is Who has created the heavens and the earth in six Days and His Throne was on the water, that He might try you, which of you is the best in deeds. But if you were to say to them: “You shall indeed be raised up after death,” those who disbelieve would be sure to say, “This is nothing but obvious magic” [Surah Hud 11:7]
Allah created the heavens and the earth for the sake of the creation of mankind and He created mankind to test human beings by delegating to them the powers of vicegerency and making them morally responsible for using or abusing them, just as they liked.
Life and death are given by Allah to test us, no one else can grant life nor cause death. The Quran says,
“Who has created death and life that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving” [Surah Mulk 67:2]
Allah did not create this creation out of mere frivolity but he has created us in the world for the test. Life is for us the period of the test and death means that the time allotted for the test has come to an end.
2. Allah created us to worship Him alone
He created the heavens and the earth for the benefit of His servants, whom He created so that they may worship Him and not associate anything with Him as a partner. Quran says,“And I (Allah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)” [Surah Dhariyat 51:56]
Allah Almighty is not the Creator only of the jinn and men but of the entire universe and of everything in it. He created Jinn and men to worship, obey and carry out the orders of any other but Allah. Worship means Prayer, Fasting and other kinds of such worship so that one may understand that the jinn and men have been created only for performing the Prayer, observing the Fast and praising and glorifying Allah.
How many stages of life?
Every human being has to go through three stages:1. A stage in the present world from birth to death.
2. The second stage is from death to resurrection.
3. And the third stage after the resurrection on the Day of Resurrection.
These three stages are going to pass on the same earth according to this verse.
"From the earth, We created you, and into it, We will return you, and from it, We will extract you another time." [Surah Taha 20:55]
He has full power to punish those who do evil, no one has the power to escape punishment. But whoever repents and turns away from evil and seeks forgiveness, is the one to deal with.
Who Gives Life And Causes Death?
Accidentally, your death does not happen automatically. There is Allah who gives you life and takes it away. It is enough to say the word "Be" for him and each and every impossible work becomes possible. Isn't it enough to understand that this world came into existence when he said: "Be!" Can't you imagine that nothing is impossible for him?"He, it is Who gives life and causes death; and when He decrees a matter, He but says to it, "Be," and it is." [Surah Momin 40: 68]
There is no god but He, and there can be no other. Because it is utterly unreasonable to say that the One who has made you a living human being by putting life into inanimate matter, and who has the absolute power to keep this life of yours for as long as He wants and whenever He wills. Eliminate it, do not worship it, or worship anyone other than Him, or worship others along with it.
"There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers." [Surah Dukhan 44: 8]
Why Did He Create Life And Death?
He has started this series of life and death of human beings in the world in order to test which human action is better. Death and life are from Him, neither the giver of life nor the giver of death. A human-like creature, endowed with the power to do good and evil, His life is neither purposeless nor dead. The Creator created us here to be tested. Life is a test for us, and death means that our trial is over. For this test, the Creator has given everyone the opportunity to act to express their good or bad by working in the world and showing in practice what kind of person he is.[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving." [Surah Mulk 67: 2]
The Creator is the one who decides whose deeds are good and whose deeds are bad. Therefore, anyone who wants to pass the exam should know what is good for the examiner. The person will be rewarded according to what he has done, because if there is no reward then there is no point in taking the exam from scratch. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful for His creatures, and He is not unjust.
Who Provides Us The Grave?
We are helpless before our Creator, not only in the matter of our birth and destiny but also in the matter of our own death. We cannot be born of our own free will, nor can we die of our own free will, nor can we avert death even for a moment. We die at the same time, in the same place, in the same condition as the grave has been decided for us."Then he causes his death and provides a grave for him." [Surah Abas 80: 21]
The dead body is buried, whether it be the belly of the earth, or the depths of the sea, or the flame of fire, or the stomach of a beast, Apart from the whole world, man alone cannot change this decision of the Creator in the case of any human being if he wants to.
Will He Bring Us [Back] To Life?
How can the God who is doing this in front of our eyes not be able to give life to man after death? He is constantly disposing of Waste Matter from living human beings and animals which do not even contain the essence of life. He breathes the spirit of life into dead matter every moment and brings into existence countless living animals, plants and human beings. Although there is absolutely no life in the substances that make up the bodies of these living beings, every scene shows you that barren land where the water became available and all of a sudden that animal and plant life Treasures begin to flow."How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him, you will be returned." [Surah Baqrah 2: 28]
In view of all this, if a person thinks that the God who runs this factory entity is incapable of reviving man after his death, then he is in fact blind to reason. The eyes in his head see the outward scenes, the eyes of his intellect do not see the bright realities within them.
"He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out." [Surah Room 30:19]
An example of expelling an animal from an inanimate object, such as a hen from an egg, and an example of expelling an inanimate object from a hen, such as an egg. Then Allah Almighty has given the example that the earth is dead due to famine, and it has no capacity to grow anything, but Allah Almighty gives life to it by raining down rain, similarly, after death, human beings also Will revive.
How Will Allah Bring Life After Death?
When a man on the one hand sees the deeds of the disbelievers and disobedient and then sees how they are flourishing in the world, on the other hand, he sees the obedience slogans of the believers and then shows them this poverty and suffering. Seeing the prey, in which the Prophet (ï·º) and his Companions were suffering in the year 9 AH and its time, naturally, a strange longing question begins to circulate in his heart. But in the chapter of Barqa (Ayah 259), Allah gives the example of a person who passed through a settlement that was ruined. He got upset and said, "How will Allah bring it to life after its death?" After that, Allah made him die for a hundred years; Then he revived him and showed how he would create life again:
Or [consider such an example] as the one who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin.
He said, "How will Allah bring this to life after its death?"
So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then He revived him.
He said, "How long have you remained?"
We consider another example, In the same chapter of Baqara but Ayah 260, when Prophet Abraham was curious about how Allah would bring us back to life, he asked Allah, "My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead." Then Allah asked to do an activity with the birds to prove it:
And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead."
The man said, "I have remained a day or part of a day."
He said, "Rather, you have remained one hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed with time. And look at your donkey, and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones [of this donkey] - how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is over all things competent." [Surat-ul-Baqrah:259]
The Ayah refers to a man from the Children of Israel, and the village was Jerusalem after Nebuchadnezzar destroyed it and killed its people. It became empty of people, and the roofs and walls (of the village) fell to the ground.
Uzayr stood contemplating what had happened to that city, after a great civilization used to inhabit it.
He said, Oh! How will Allah ever bring it to life after its death) because of the utter destruction he saw and the implausibility of its returning to what it used to be.
So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him up (again).
The city was rebuilt seventy years after the man (Uzayr) died, its inhabitants increased and the Children of Israel moved back to it. When Allah resurrected `Uzayr after he died, the first organ that He resurrected were his eyes, so that he could witness what Allah does with him, and how He brings life back to his body. When his resurrection was complete, Allah said to him, meaning through the angel,
“How long did you remain (dead)”
He (the man) said: “(Perhaps) I remained (dead) a day or part of a day.”
When he saw that the sun was still apparent, he thought that it was the sun of that very day.
He said, “Or part of a day. ”
Angle said: “Nay, you have remained (dead) for a hundred years, look at your food and your drink, they show no change.”
(He had grapes, figs and juice, and he found them as he left them; neither did the juice spoil nor the figs become bitter nor the grapes rot.)
(And look at your donkey!), “How Allah brings it back to life while you are watching.”
Look at the bones, how We bring them back to life And clothe them with flesh.
Uzayr observed the bones of his donkey, which were scattered all around him to his right and left, and Allah sent a wind that collected the bones from all over the area. Allah then brought every bone to its place, until they formed a full donkey made of fleshless bones. Allah then covered these bones with flesh, nerves, veins and skin. Allah sent an angel who blew life in the donkeys’ nostrils, and the donkey started to bray by Allah’s leave.” All this occurred while `Uzayr was watching, and this is when he proclaimed,
He said, “I know (now) that Allah is able to do all things,”) meaning, “I know that, and I did witness it with my own eyes. Therefore, I am the most knowledgeable in this matter among the people of my time.”

He said, "Yes, but [I ask] only that my heart may be satisfied."
[Allah] said, "Take four birds and commit them to yourself. Then [after slaughtering them] put on each hill a portion of them; then call them - they will come [flying] to you in haste. And know that Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise." [Surat-ul-Baqrah:260]
The command of Hazrat Ibrahim (as) was not due to any doubt, he had full faith in the perfect power of Allah Almighty. But seeing with the eyes is something else. This not only gives more satisfaction but after that one can say to others that whatever I am saying, I am saying it by looking at it with the eyes apart from gaining knowledge of it with arguments.
Why Will He Gather Us At Our Final Destination?
The Resurrection of the dead and the death of all men is the Promise of our Lord and certainly, He does not go against what He promises. One day is set for the gathering of all human beings. Ignorance and guilt is the real cause of people's denial of the Hereafter. If one considers the system of the universe and one's own existence in the right way, one will realize that there is no room for doubt in the coming of the Hereafter.Say, "Allah causes you to live, then causes you to die; then He will assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt, but most of the people do not know." [Surah Jasiya 45: 26]
In this ayah, Allah told us about our final destination which is the day of resurrection. After death, we will be gathered on the day of resurrection which is our final destination where will be punished or rewarded for our deeds.
"Indeed, it is he who give life and cause death, and to Us is the destination." [Surah Qaaf 50: 43]
He who gave us life will give us death. No one can kill or live. Life and death are secret. Nobody can find the truth of both, Where does life come from, where does it goes, no one knows. There are millions of ways of death. No one but Allah can tell us why death comes and we are alive.
"And that it is He who causes death and gives life." [Surah Najam 53: 44]
Even if a person has a small piece of earth, he will feel proud. But Allah is the owner of all lands of heaven and earth, he keeps them as he wants. His kingdom is everywhere, He gives the command as he pleases. He is the owner of death and life. Only Allah has the right to decide how and who will live or die.
His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent." [Surah Hadeed 57: 2]
He is the giver of life and the giver of death. He has power over all things. He gives death as well as life. He gives honour and disgrace. What he wants would be and what he doesn't want never be in existence. He has control over everything. Allah's power is manifested in life and death. There is neither life nor death without His will. Surely He is Able to do all things.
Will He Set Up Scales Of Justice?
After the Day of Resurrection, when we are all dead, Allah will resurrect us. This will be the time when we will all be judged according to our deeds. He will set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least. Allah says in the Quran,“We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least. And if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): And enough are We to take account.” [Al-Qur’an: Anbiya 21:47]
On the Day of Resurrection, there will be justice not only for all people; Rather, it will be ensured that justice is visible to all. For this purpose, Allah Almighty will make public scales in which the deeds of human beings will be weighed and the fate of human beings will be decided according to the weight of deeds, Whatever a person does in this world, even though he does not see anybody, nor does he feel any weight, But in the Hereafter, Allah will create a way to weigh them so that the reality of these deeds becomes clear.
If a man can invent new instruments for weighing things like cold and heat, then obviously Allah Almighty is also able to give a practical demonstration of weighing these deeds. In another verse, Allah told in the Quran who will be successful or suffer loss and how,
"And the measuring out on that day will be just; then as for him whose measure (of good deeds) is heavy, those are they who shall be successful. And as for him, whose measure (of good deeds) is light, those are they who have made their souls suffer loss because they disbelieved in Our communications". [Surah Ayeraaf 7: 8-9]
It is difficult for us to understand the nature of this scale. In any case, it will be something that will weigh man's moral attributes and deeds and his good and evil instead of weighing material things. And by weighing precisely, it will show what is the moral basis of a person. If it is good then how good it is and if it is bad then how bad it is. The Almighty has chosen the word "scales" for this, except for other words in our language, either because its nature is similar to that of "scales", or because the purpose of this choice is to give the impression that Just as the scales of a scale accurately tell the difference between the weights of two things, so Allah's scales of justice will examine the deeds of every human being and tell us whether the aspect of goodness prevails or that of evil.
Will He Send Us Back To The World?
The world in which the dead live from the time of death till the Day of Resurrection is called the world of "Barzakh". The Disbelievers’ Hope when death approaches Allah tells us about what happens when death approaches one of those who have been negligent with the commands of Allah. He tells us what he says and how he asks to come back to this world so that he can rectify whatever wrongs he committed during his lifetime. And about the unbelievers the Quran says:“Until, when death comes unto one of them, he says, ‘My Lord, send me back, that I may do right in that which I have left behind!’ But no! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. And when the Trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of another. Then those whose scales are heavy, are successful. And those whose scales are light are those who lose their soul, in hell abiding, the fire burns their faces and they are glum therein.”(Momimoon 23:99-104)
The verses say that it is not possible for you to return to this world after death because the world of Barzakh is before you, which will remain till the Day of Resurrection. When death approaches, they will say, "Bring me back to this world that I might do righteous in that I left behind", But they will never be sent back nor given another opportunity, for in that case the test and trial for which man is sent to this world becomes meaningless. They will not be able to help each other, nor shall they be able to inquire about each other as father and son, for each one will be worried and anxious about his own plight. Those whose deeds are good will be saved. but those whose deeds are not good will be thrown into Hell.
Will Allah Forgive Them?
If there is no punishment or retribution in the hereafter, then all the people would be equal and those who have worked hard by following the rules of Islam will not be rewarded, even after their death, their sacrifice will not be rewarded and their life and death will be equal. Allah said in the Quran,“What! Do those who seek after evil ways think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds, - that equal with their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make. God created the heavens and the earth for just ends, and in order that each soul may find the recompense of what it has earned, and none of them be wronged.” [Surah Jasiya 45:21]
The difference between good and evil in morals and between goodness and wickedness in deeds necessarily demands that the good and the evil people should not meet with one and the same end, but the good should be rewarded for their good and the wicked punished for their evil deeds. Otherwise, if the good and the evil end up similarly, the distinction of virtue and vice in morals becomes meaningless and God becomes unjust.
